The world has become a far darker place in the last three years. After the death of Illidan and the Purge of Uldaman, The peoples of the world fell back into peace. The gnomes and dwarves continued the excavation of Uldaman, and the pact between Horde and Alliance was reforged. But this peace was not to last. Deep in the bowls of the old city, a dark shadow was unleashed. This ancient being, believed to be the remnant of one of the old gods, unleashed a wave of horror from the dark abyss in which it had been imprisoned. These evil creatures, called Shadow Beasts, tore through everything in their path. Uldaman was overrun in minutes, the survivors babbling and insane. However, the new Azerothian Defence Force, or ADF, massed an army, driving back the shadow into the very bowls of Uldaman. It was here that the true power of the Shadows was unleashed, bringing bigger, faster, and stronger Shadow Beasts than before. Amidst the chaos of dying men, the man known as Aziel Pasondo discovered something that could save the world. A key, simple, but within it lay a great power. This discovery lead to his death, and the key, along with his last words, were sent to his wife, Elaida, along with instructions as how to find the truth of this small object. Now, as the dark gathers, she, and a small band of adventurers have gathered to find the truth…
And salvation.

However, there are more than shadows before them. The Burning Legion has launched another invasion, this time on Draenor. They control the entire continent, save for the Dark Portal and Shattrath. Each of these places is holding on, barely, and will soon fall if not reinforced. The time has come for heroes.

Elaida waited calmly at the Inn in Goldshire, nervous only on the inside. Her husbands death still grieved her, but now that her life again had purpose, she was able to stay focused.

She straitened as her soon to be group approached. It was time to fight back.

Eloy strolled through Goldshire in the direction of the inn. It had been a pleasant enough ride from Stormwind, and it was nice to see Elwynn again- he had traveled here a few times before when he was younger, but it had been a while. In the big cities there was little talk of anything but the wars nowadays- the Shadow creatures had caused quite a bit of hysteria- but out here it was more peaceful. Eloy suspected that with a mission to Outland on the horizon, he might not be anywhere peaceful for a while.

Entering the inn, he looked around and noticed the woman he was supposed to escort. Casually, he approached her. "My name's Eloy Belfort," he said, giving an elaborate bow. "I'm here to take part on the escort mission. I'm pleased to meet you."
